High prices -Economy

Citizens:

Everyone seems concern with high gas prices. When are we going to take supressive actions?  Foreclosure is taking a
huge toll. We all hope that the election of a new president will produce an economic change.  Sadly enough, the prices will not be rolled back anymore than the families will get the home that was loss back.

Its time to take control of our spending. Don’t waite until you lose your job until you lose your job until you take action.  A new president can only place controls on the rising prices for food, gas, and products.  Don’t the banks lenders and other companies have a lot of room to find ways to charge more for goods and services.

What do you plan to do to help control the outrageous prices for goods and services?  We would like to know how you plan to slow down this economy.

Magic Jack?

I am sure many of you have heard about “Magic jack” the free local and long distant phone company.  I don’t know much about this product but the secrecy of this company bring about suspicion regarding this company.  I have tried to find out information about this company and been a partial failure.  From the time I attempted to purchase this product, I tried to contact the customer service. There is no customer service.

However, magic jack will loop you stating you will talk live with customer care it never happen.  They don’t send you a receipt with the product.  The company don’t send you an email yet they require you to register with them. The product is fair not exceptional.  The claim of free local and long distant calling attract much attention.  Try the product for 20 days not thirty.  I was billed $49.99 with no explanation.  I assume arround $30.00 for the unit and $19.99 for one years service or ph#. Must return within thirty days.

I caution everyone not to get all caught up with this device.  How much does usage of this magic jack really save you.  Whenever you use a service like this, you must consider the installation cost.  You must have a 1) landline, 2) high speed internet, 3) $19.99 yr. to use the service and 4) electricity because your computer must stay on all the time.  Add all of these cost and divide it by 12.  We call this opportunity cost.

Is the cost worth the money you are spending?  It is if you spent a great amount of your time calling and talking to others.  This technology is not new. Vontage use the same technology but they charge you a monthly fee and magic jack charge you off the top. Shop around you may find a better deal just the price will broken down differently. Be money wise and financially smart.
