Take It back!

Today nothing is as it seems.  Words are powerful but word meaning changes from person to person. Deceit has be come a way of life. Everyone is being played or trying to play. Many years ago a contract could be made with just a handshake.  Now it is difficult to trust anyone.

Cell phones was the topic of interest, today we switch to satellite TV. First came the cable TV, now there is satellite TV.
During the inception of Cable TV, scheduling was worth the money.  We received good movies on a regular schedule.  Of course there was some repeat of movies ocassionally, now you will see the same movie for several months.

Specifically, Satellite TV has hurt the home entertainment business.  The public is offered 60, 100, 120, channels and various other add-on’s to its programs.  Most of the programs offered in these packages are programs that only the upper class and middle class watches. Satellite TV are growing and actively pursuing other customers.  Their objective is to lock housedholds into long term contracts. There are very many people lock into contracts and these agencies don’t show quality movies anymore.   These companies are now showing the same movies all the time and slipping in one good movie periodically.  Did you know for the $80 and $100 you can rent as many movies as you can watch from a movie rental store?

Companies realizes that people are not watching the TV shows so they are not showing quality movies.  Satellite TV is only saling you what they promise you at first. Its the owe bait and switch game.  The only difference is, the clause in your contract that says “the company has the right to change its programming at any time”. Next we will discuss the wording of the contract. Please include your comments because everyone have different experiences.

Played and Punk’d (pt-3)

There is a lot to say about cell phone companies when you are trying to budget and save money. However, many people feel that they must have a cell phone. The cell phone business is a multi-billion dollar industry thanks to you. Companies are playing consumers to drain every dollar out of you it can.  I will mention text messaging in this blog.  Young adults do a lot of text messaging. Texting friends is rapidly becoming more important than talking on the phone itself.

Can you send a text message faster than you can talk? Obviously, There is only one good answer to this question. Cell phone businesses would like you to think that you can send a text message faster. 1) you must think of what you want to say. Cell phone agencies are very innovative. They are reading your mind and now building a dictionary of pre-type words in the phone. 2) you have to type your message. If what you want to say is not typed out and in the list you have to type it out. 3) send it.

The process is not faster but can be cheaper than calling if the destination is long distance. Youth must revisit the concept of “need vs want” before they end up financially destroyed. This technology generation have been programmed themselves. They have given away the majority of their rights to businesses and companies are milking it for all that its worth. You must develop financial discipline. Later, I will show you why you must develop financial discipline are you are doom for broke for sure.

Played and Punk’d (pt-2)

Last blog entry I spoke in reference to cell phones and methods used to get your business.  Consumers are hipnotised and don’t know it. Inflating prices are waking up many consumers around this country.  Many families are losing their homes and don’t understand why.  Mortgages companies are closing their doors.  Inflation fosters dictation.

I went into a cell phone store today and I was really shock to see what merchants are doing to consumers.  If you have a cell phone you have experienced the process to subscribe to a cell phone service. When you speak with a sales representative he sales you on the discounts they have to offer.  Once you select a phone then he tells you you can only get that price on the cell phone if you sign a two year agreement. If you only want a one year agreement, the price gets higher.  When you only want a month to month the price gets extremely high.

Suggested Retail price on most merchandise is marked up 200 per cent.  So the only time you may really get a good deal is at liquidation sales.  Some companies refurbish equipment and sell it over and over again.  Cell phone companies are good about sending out replacement phones at no cost when a customer’s phone malfunction.  However, they are glad to do this because they know they have you for two years or you pay a cancellation charge.  You think you are free to do what you want when you are being influenced to perform as the company dictates.  Time to stop and think.

In this script, here is the main part. When I went into the store the salesperson offered me what appeared to be a good deal. He told me he would check to see if am eligible for an up grade. If so, I could get my cell -$100 value - for free. Sounds good, yeah. To get this cell phone for free I would have to sign a two year agreement. I declined. Am I a fool?

Not at all. Hear is the deal. One hundred dollars spreaded across twenty four months equals I pay $4.67 per month. Remember, this phone is free if I sign a 24 month agreement.  Stop being punked and played visit http://www.replaceyourcell.com   no contract upgrade neccessary.  Remove your emotions and listen to the salesperson closely.  Consumers control the elevation of product prices. Talk to you next time. TA TA!

Played and Punk’d

We all have heard about credit.  If the truth be told, in this country you don’t really have control of your credit.  The USA credit system is setup to destroy consumers credit for the purpose of making money. Many of you have heard of the supply and demand concept.  If you demand a product or service, someone will supply it to you.

The credit system lure people and get them stuck on a product long enough to make them feel that they can’t live without it.  Then they fill the citizen with the fear that they can’t live without it.  They make you think and feel  something bad will happen if you don’t continue to use that product.  I have live long enough to see this happen year after year.

This Country is wealthier than ever and more generations stand to inherit money.  Others never had to worry about anything but spending money.  Much of what you hear today is deceptive.  Words don’t mean much but they sound convincing.  Look at a common cell phone.

First, you desire a cell phone. The price of the cell phone is advertised for a reasonable price for you.  Next this price is flashed before you. Now you feel that you got to have this cell phone so you go to the store.  All you know is you want to buy this phone. When you ask for the phone, you have to pay for the activation of the phone.  You can’t have the phone at the price you can afford unless you sign a two year agreement. If you don’t sign a two year agreement (if you can’t afford the phone for two years, bad credit mark and cancellation fee), the cost of the phone is now three times more.  PLAYED AND PUNK’D.

You have a choice to make.  Shall you get the cell phone you come for? Will you look for another cell phone with a shorter agreement?  Venders know that they  have conditioned you and now play on that stimili conditioning. Then they tell you to get what you want you have to give back 3 times the value of what you get (PUNK’D) Let’s get more for our money.  I have more goodies for you please come back.

Don’t Be Played!

Time to wake up the sleeping giant.  Young people must awaken.  Your focus has been developing a social life but you are being robbed.  Businesses are setting the young adult up for financial failure.  Beware that spending plenty of money causes inflation.  Are you saving up any money?

Spending less money and saving more money will allow you to control inflation.  All the hype of being a millioniare only make money for others. Who will you count on when your money runs out?  If you have been to college you have notice all the credit card venders in the student center.  The companies plus your college tuition is going to keep you in debt for the rest of your life.  Are you working? Do you have benefits?  You must live for tomorrow and not only today.

Financial discipline will get you through the rough times. Some of you maybe getting a inheritance but most of you will struggle for most of your life.  You are being played and don’t know it.  Stop looking for the big break.  It only comes a couple of times in a lifetime.  Understand that there is no free brake.  Businesses are playing with your mind and programming your impluse.  When people expects much gain, in desperate times one take desperate measures.  Violence increases because others want what you have.   Look ahead.
